East & Concord Partners’ Maritime team is led by partner Wang Jianrui who has served as a member of the Maritime Professional Committee of All China Lawyers Association, Deputy Director of the Maritime Professional Committee of the Hubei Provincial Lawyers Association, and Director of the Yangtze River Maritime Law Society. He authored the book Legal Practice of Inland River Maritime Law and published several papers in the Annual Journal of China Maritime Law and the Legal Review of Ocean University of China. The legal team has represented a large number of disputes involving ship construction, ship trading, ship leasing, ship collision, maritime and inland river cargo transportation, limitation of maritime liability, bill of lading, and has rich experience in maritime litigation and has served as a legal adviser for many large-scale central navigation enterprises and provincial and municipal state-owned navigation enterprises.
