Yi Yao, one of the founding partners of East & Concord Partners, graduated from Renmin University of China (with a LL.B and LL.M) and University of Melbourne(with a LL.M). She has practiced law for 29 years, specializing in corporate law and project finance. She has extensive experience in foreign investments in China, Chinese investments outside China, merger and acquisitions, company restructuring, corporate finance and public offering, and infrastructure projects. She is a PPP expert in the PPP Expert Databases established by the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Finance.
