Qinghua Zhang focuses on providing services regarding dispute resolution, intellectual property rights, foreign investment and overseas investment. For over 20 years, Zhang has maintained leading experience and performance in legal services on intellectual property rights and foreign investment consultation.

Since the 1990s, Zhang has handled a large number of cases of foreign enterprises investing in China, among which she helped many renowned foreign enterprises set up enterprises in the country. Furthermore, she serves as a long-term legal counsel for many enterprises. After 2000, with growing business, Zhang worked on the area of intellectual property rights protection for many foreign enterprises, including administrative and civil procedures of trademarks and patents, negotiations, investigations and applications. Furthermore, Zhang has rich experience in establishing the regulations for employee inventions and licensing agreements of trademarks and patents, as well as negotiations and contracting.

For many years, Zhang has been highly recognized by clients and media both at home and abroad. Zhang has handled trademark cases of many Japanese companies, including CASIO and NSK, and has worked as the long-term legal counsel for many companies as well.

In addition, Zhang actively shoulders social responsibilities and was widely recognized by society. She worked as an adjunct professor at Hitotsubashi University in Japan and Wuhan University in China. Zhang also acted as an arbitrator at the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission between 2005 and 2008. Furthermore, she worked in the Research Office of the Legislative Affairs Commission from 1981 to 1986.
