Mr. Lin is one of the managing partners of East & Concord Partners and director of the Greater Bay Area Management Committee; Mr. Lin obtained a Chinese lawyer’s license in 1995 and has a total of 26 years of work experience in law firms in Mainland China, Canada and Singapore. Before joining East & Concord Partners, Mr. Lin served as the Asia Pacific Legal Leader of one of the “Four Big Accounting Firms” in the field of Family Enterprise Consulting. Mr. Lin is also a licensed lawyer in the Province of BC, Canada.

Mr. Lin has been focusing on cross-border legal planning for private wealth, family trusts, cross-border legal structure design and construction, cross-border investment and M&A, infrastructure investment and project financing etc..

Mr. Lin is skilled in integrating legal resources of various jurisdictions, designing and building cross-border legal structure for Chinese enterprises, and providing cross-border legal planning for Chinese high-net-worth families, helping clients achieve global asset layout. Mr. Lin is particularly skilled in designing and building cross-border legal structure by utilizing legal mechanisms that have a positive impact on Chinese enterprises and wealth families in jurisdictions such as resident countries, investment host countries, Hong Kong, Singapore, Cayman, BVI. In recent years, Mr. Lin has provided cross-border legal services to more than 60 enterprises and Chinese high-net-worth families, with most of his clients being located in North America, Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong, and several family businesses/wealth families having been listed at the top of Forbes’ rankings. Mr. Lin’s clients benefit from his legal planning knowledge with a global perspective rooted in China and rich practical experience.

Mr. Lin is an arbitrator of the South China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission.
