Zhang has extensive legal experience in non-litigation fields such as capital markets and securities. Before joining East & Concord, Zhang worked at a well-known law firm in China. Zhang has provided legal services to multiple investment funds, multinational corporations, state-owned enterprises, listed companies, start-up companies, financial institutions, and some high-net-worth individuals. Zhang’s practice areas include but are not limited to the establishment, investment, exit and liquidation of overseas funds, bond issuance, equity investment and financing, employee equity incentives, joint venture mergers and acquisitions, perennial legal advisors, and corporate compliance. The fields involve artificial intelligence, TMT, finance, energy, healthcare, consumption, food, education, culture and media, ESG, and so on. Zhang's working languages are Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese, Teochew) and English.
